Ubisoft is clearly taking a chance on the next-generation Nintendo Wii U console. They are set to bet on the next-generation console, developing some killer new games.

Ubisoft has many games in development that are likely to come down the pipeline for the Nintendo Wii U.

One of the bigger games to have been confirmed by Ubisoft is none other than Assassin's Creed III.

The game, also in development for the Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, as well as Windows PC platform, will likely be one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2012.

On top of that release, Ubisoft is developing a top-of-the-line MMORPG release for the Nintendo Wii U, expected to be an exclusive for the Nintendo platform.

The exclusive first-person shooter Killer Freaks rounds out the top 3 Nintendo Wii U projects Ubisoft has coming down the pipeline.

Ubisoft will also likely be bringing some of their other franchises to the Nintendo Wii U, including World Championship Poker.

The gamble that Ubisoft is making on the Nintendo Wii U shows that they are putting all of their chips in on the next-generation Nintendo console.

There is still no release date for the next-generation console, but it is expected that Nintendo will release it in October 2012.

Nintendo is expected to announce a price and release date for the console at E3 2012.
