No More Heroes 2: Even Fewer Heroes

When No More Heroes debuted on the Wii, it attracted a lot of attention for its mature themes and powerful visual style. The brainchild of Japanese auteur developer Suda51, the game made absolutely no compromises to Nintendo's kid-friendly image with its Wii release. Despite being a mature game, it attracted enough of a niche following to warrant a sequel. The next game in the series, termed "Desperate Struggle" promises to bring back more of what we loved in the first game. No More Heroes 2 will launch for the Nintendo Wii across the UK and Europe on 28th May.

Three years have passed since Travis Touchdown became the top assassin in the United Assassins Association and walked away. Now, he returns to Santa Destroy and fights Skelter Helter, who seeks revenge on Travis for killing his older brother Helter Skelter prior to the first game.

Soaked in slick graphic novel-style visuals, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is
clever, mature and further validates the series' reputation as one of the most
original and unique games on the Wii. In the first game, Travis had to perform various entertaining and monotonous jobs to earn money. The minigames that Travis can do for money or improved stats are now 8-bit style games, covering genres such as action, puzzle, and racing. These addictive arcade mini-games provide opportunities to earn money for different items, such as weapons and clothing.
