Nintendo Vastly Improves Wii U Controller, Ready For E3

Nintendo has reportedly made some major improvements to the Nintendo Wii U controller ahead of the big unveil that is set to take place at E3 2012 in just a few weeks time.
Nintendo unveiled a version of the Wii U controller at E3 2011 that was received with some mixed emotions.
There were many things which gamers were not too fond of, including the fact that the controller did not have normal analog sticks.
Things have reportedly changed quite a bit since that unveil though as Nintendo has changed the design of the tablet controller quite a bit.
A Q&A tester from Traveller's Tales Games, with the Twitter account @MattBoosh, sent out a Tweet of a picture of the Nintendo Wii U controller today, which was picked up gamers around the world.
The picture of the Nintendo Wii U controller showed some key differences from what we saw a year ago.
The first big difference is that the controller now has two real analog sticks, rather than the nubs that were on the prototype controller a year ago.
This is a great change made by Nintendo as gamers have not been a fan of the analog nubs over the years on the Sony PSP, and most recently on the Nintendo 3DS.
On top of that, the new redesigned controller also has added buttons on the face of it, with new buttons below the touch-screen, as well as to the right.
The picture that was sent out also contains all of the branding that states that it is a Wii U controller.
The leaked image definitely looks like the real thing so all we have to do at this point is wait around and see if the leaked image ends up being the version of the controller that we see next month at the big Nintendo press conference at E3 2012.
