E3 is expected to be the coming out party for the Nintendo Wii U in many ways.

Last year at E3 2011, Nintendo unveiled the next-generation console, mainly its tablet controller, but said very little beyond that pertaining to the new console.

Things are going to change this year as at E3 2012, they will likely announcemeny of the launch games, and also may give hints in regards to a price point as well as a release date. As of right now, it is looking very likely that the Wii U will come in at a price point of $299, and will have a release date of around November 15th in North America.

With E3 now quickly approaching, Nintendo is starting to build hype via social media with its Facebook page.

Nintendo has updated their Facebook page, teasing some of the initial launch games that could release day and date with the Nintendo Wii U.

The official Nintendo Wii U Facebook page has published a new statement for its fans. The question reads, "Guess what the initial game releases will be for Nintendo's new home console, Wii U? Soon we'll scratch off to reveal the names!"

When you go onto the page to view the message, you will see that there are three long gray boxed below the question.

What you can expect here is that at either E3 2012, or the days leading up to E3 2012, they are going to unveil three launch titles for the Nintendo Wii U.

There has been a great deal of speculation in regards to what these three games will be.

There is a firm belief that one of them will end up being the new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U. Many are also hoping that there will be a new Super Smash Bros. game, as well as a new Pikmin thrown into the mix.

Whether or not these will all be launch titles remains to be seen. Nintendo will surely show off Mario, Zelda, as well as its other big franchises in some shape or form for the Nintendo Wii U at the E3 press conference event.

Nintendo is slated to hold their E3 2012 press conference when E3 kicks off next week. The fun all starts in less than 7-days, so get ready gaming fans, plenty of Wii U news is on the way.
