Get On Your Cyberbike, Fatty!

The Nintendo Wii already hosts a wide variety of fitness games. Pretty much everyone has attempted to jump on the Wii Fit bandwagon after stellar sales pushed that surprising title into the top-sellers list. Lately, game ideas have been getting pretty outrageous, and Cyberbike takes things to a whole new level. This title from Big Ben Interactive is the first video game that comes with an exercise bike -- the entire thing. According to the publisher, Cyberbike introduces a brand new way to do sports in your living room.

It's not just pedalling in front of a screen either -- the game actually has a story. Players must use both their heads and their legs to clean up the planet. Clear paths and roads of the sources of pollution that are ruining the environment as you cycle along on some of the most improbable vehicles ever imagined on land, sea and air. Believe it or not, the graphics are actually pretty good (see screenshot below). Using the bike included with the game, players are able to ride through 18 different circuits. As you progress, numerous accessories are unlocked to customise your vehicles and equipment, such as new backpacks and new vehicle colours.

The game comes with three different modes, suitable for members of the entire family: Fitness, Story, and Multiplayer ( which involves up to four players taking turns).

The publisher expects to have the game on shelves by Christmas 2009. According to the company, the bike is fully-featured and can be used by different family members thanks to the adjustable saddle and handlebars.
