Zelda Set To Go Pokemon Route On Nintendo 3DS

The Legend of Zelda is apparently set to receive two new releases on the Nintendo 3DS, going the Pokemon route.

ScrewAttack.com has posted a new image that was published online that reveals two new Nintendo 3DS Zelda titles.

When translated, these titles mean The Legend of Zelda Fire Prophecy, and The Legend of Zelda Ice Prophecy.

For those who are big Pokemon fans, it is typical for Nintendo to release two versions of similar games, each with their own secrets and own items that make it necessary to own and play through both to get the full experience.

Nintendo apparently seems to be going this Pokemon route with the next Zelda on the 3DS, as it seems they are going to be releasing two versions of the game that will likely interact with one another.

We will have to wait and see if these play out in a similar fashion to the epic Zelda adventures we know and love, or if this will be different.

This is not the first time Nintendo has launched two Zelda games at once on a platform.

GameBoy Color received Legens of Zelda Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages back in 2011 at the same time.

These games were both great adventure titles which gamers ate up on the handheld.

Simultaneous releases would surely please the hardcore fans on the 3DS.

Only time will tell, but if this turns out to be true expect a huge announcement at E3 2012.
