22nd November 2011: Get ready to battle the evil Metroid™ once again when the original Game Boy™ classic Metroid™ II - Return of Samus becomes available to download on Nintendo 3DS™ via the Nintendo eShop this week. The second installment of the Metroid series sees Samus Aran on a mission to rid planet SR388 of the Metroid menace.

Samus has been tasked with battling through a sprawling underworld, endeavoring to hunt down and destroy every last Metroid. Build up your arsenal by locating unique and mysterious artifacts and master the new abilities and powerful new weapons.

The SpotPass™ feature on Nintendo 3DS allows you to automatically receive a host of exciting content such as 3D videos for Nintendo Video ™, notifications, add-on data for your software and system updates without lifting a finger. SpotPass content can be received automatically and free of charge from thousands of supported public Wi-Fi access points across Europe and through wireless broadband internet connections at home. It works even if the system is in Sleep Mode.

Nintendo 3DS owners will still have the chance to receive on Nintendo Video two special 3D clips this week; The Legend of Zelda™Main Theme Medley which was performed as part of The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony CD recordings. and Ballad of the Goddess from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword game. Also keep an eye out as Great Fairy's Fountain Theme from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past will also become available on Nintendo Video soon.
