CES 2012 is just a month away and there are reports and rumors flying in regards to what Nintendo may be bringing to the show this year, and there is no surprise that much of the talk surrounds the Wii U.

Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo Wii U last year at E3 2011, garnering a great deal of attention.

The Wii U is set to be the successor to the Nintendo Wii, and is going to be headlined by HD graphics, a first for Nintendo, as well as a tablet-style controller which will feature a full touch-screen.

Nintendo has been confirmed to be getting ready to showcase the Wii U at CES 2012, but what exactly are they going to show?

The Wii U made a big splash at the 2011 E3 Expo with a varietyo f game demos and such for the media to try out.

There have been rumors that Nintendo is going to simply be bringing the Wii U and all of the same E3 Expo demos from last June, and showcasing them to the media members who did not get to try it at E3 last year.

There are also thoughts though that Nintendo may take things one step further and reveal some new information, and games for the Wii U.

This could be a smart move for Nintendo as they will be able to garner a great deal of hype coming out of CES and heading into E3.

The Nintendo Wii U is expected to launch in October 2012, and Nintendo would be wise to really start pushing the envelope in terms of what they reveal about the new console to entice gamers who may be hesitant to purchase a new console at this time.

We will have to wait until January, but we would be shocked if Nintendo did not bring something newsworthy to CES, something new.
