May sales figures have attested to Nintendo's dominance of both the console and handheld market with Ninttendo fighting off challenges from Microsoft and Sony with the Wii.
Similarly, despite Sony's PSP price reduction sparking dramatic sales with 221,000 units shifted in May, the Nintendo DS continued to dominate the handheld market though, with a PSP-destroying 423,000 units sold in May.
