Nintendo finally gave Core gamers what they've been waiting for. Games like the previously announced Conduit will be arriving in June. Dead Space Extraction is a cool entry, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is another, and best of all Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is launching on Sept. 11x2. But that's not all. Nintendo brought out all the big guns this E3 by announcing Core titles for the Core gamer.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Returning with the planetoid gameplay comes Mario Galaxy 2. The biggest surprise is the long-awaited arrival of Yoshi. Ride Yoshi or fly. It's up to you. The game's release date will be in 2010. For 2009, you'll be surprised to know there are FOUR Mario games announced at this E3.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii - This version of the DS game will feature four-player co-operative play on a 2D plane. It will feature seamless drop-in drop-out and is sure to be an instant classic. Expect this game to hit store shelves for the holiday season.

Metroid: The Other M - The BIGGEST news was the conference ender. Two legendary developers are combining their might to bring you the newest iteration of Metroid. Yes, Team Ninja, the studio that brought you all those limb-chopping Ninja Gaiden games and introduced the world to breast jiggle physics, will be developing Metroid: The Other M. This seems to be a frenetic, third-person centric action/adventure game with a mix of some first-person gameplay. Expect the game to hit in 2010.

Wii Fit Plus - The sequel that surprised no one, Wii Fit Plus will arrive this Fall with six new strenth and yoga exercises and fifteen new balance board mini-games to keep America in shape. Dust off your balance board for juggling, skateboarding, and running with an unprecedented amount of control over which body part you want to tone.

Wii Vitality Sensor - Nintendo introduces a device that wil measure player's vital signs while you play. The device connects to the bottom of the Wiimote and the other end attaches to your finger, just like any other vitality sensor you find at the gym. With the growing sector of fitness games, this may become an important diagnostic device that somehow feeds back into the gameplay.

Wii Sports Resort - Packed with the Wii MotionPlus controller and mini-games like skydiving, archery, and basketball. Let the fun begin on July 26.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again - This DSiWare exclusive will drop on June 8. The third in the series, it now comes with a level editor and levels can be shared online.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - You are sucked up into Bowser's body and there you fight the big boss from the inside out. The game will hit stores this Fall.

WarioWare DIY (for the DSi) - Made specifically with the DSi in mind, use its camera to generate your very own microgames. Share your creations with others.

Golden Sun DS - RPG fans can bask in the sun once again when Golden Sun rises on the DS. One of the most memorable 2D RPGs on the GameBoy, Golden Sun will be able to make its mark on the DS sometime next year with a fresh paint of all-new 3D graphics.
