Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon

A new Final Fantasy game aimed at younger players is about to arrive in stores. Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon is an exclusive title for Wii and makes use of the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection as well as motion sensing controls, but will this new title be popular with the hardcore fans?

The story sees Chocobo and Cid arriving in a town where all of the inhabitants have lost their memory. All of a sudden, some kid called Raffaello (he sounds suspicious to me) turns up and says he can help everyone out by creating dungeons. It is within these dungeons that Chochobo can return the memories of the townsfolk and make everything nice once again. The game isn't out until the Autumn, but in the meantime here are a few new screenshots that give a sense of what to expect from the spin-of title.
