Eurogamer Announces Nintendo Life Sales Partnership

Eurogamer, Europe's leading independent games media specialist, is delighted to announce that it has entered a partnership with Nintendo Life (www.nintendolife.com), the world's largest independent Nintendo games website.

The sales deal will see Eurogamer Network acting as Nintendo Life's sole agent for advertising sales and business development globally.

Nintendo Life was founded in 2006 by Anthony Dickens to coincide with the US release of the Wii. Anthony then joined forces with Darren Calvert and Damien McFerran, who had created the popular Virtual Console Reviews site, and together they launched WiiWare World in early 2008.

As part of its expanding coverage of Nintendo systems, in 2009 all three sites were merged into Nintendo Life as it is today, which now also includes Nintendo DS and 3DS and retro content.

"Over the past few years myself, Darren and Damien - with the assistance of our team of international contributors - have worked incredibly hard to position Nintendo Life as the world's premier Nintendo-centric website," said Nintendo Life managing director Anthony Dickens.

"We're delighted to be working with Rupert and his dedicated team at Eurogamer, and have been hugely impressed by their knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise. We're certain that our new partnership will flourish and enable us to grow our business over the coming years."

Eurogamer Network managing director Rupert Loman added: "We're very pleased to welcome Nintendo Life in to the Eurogamer family. The team shares our passion for video games editorial and has done an amazing job establishing a dominant position in the market. As with our partnership with Rock, Paper, Shotgun, we see this as a great opportunity for the commercial development of Nintendo Life."
