EA Launches Pumping International Music Soundtrack for FIFA Street 3

Electronic Arts unveiled today an international selection of artists and music that make up the soundtrack of FIFA Street 3, the newest instalment of the EA SPORTS BIG street soccer arcade series. Hand selected to bring the exhilarating soccer experience to life through environments that pulsate to the beats, the FIFA Street 3 in-game soundtrack features 37 songs representing a resurgence in electronic music and brings the beautiful game back to the streets.

The third chapter in the FIFA Street series creates a hyper-real world that brings to life soccer's biggest stars as stylized action heroes who perform to an eclectic selection of music seamlessly infused into their surroundings. The game's environments pulsate and explode to life with every well-timed tackle, outrageous trick move or unstoppable shot on goal.

The FIFA Street 3 soundtrack boasts an extraordinary mix of music gathered from around the globe, hand picked to represent different regions and their passion for the game. It includes songs by Chromeo (Canada), MC Amilcka (Brazil), Datarock (Norway), Junkie XL (Holland), M.I.A. (Sri Lanka / London), and Underworld (London).

"For FIFA Street 3 we've created a soundtrack that digs deep into hardcore electronic culture, bringing together the genre's most radical breakthrough artists from more than a dozen countries. Decked out in authentic training kits, every player has been rendered into a stylized caricature and boasts his own, distinctive style of play with unique abilities to match. Whether you're after brawn, brains, silky skills or crunching tackles to complete your team, the perfect street player is out there. Choose from Tricksters, Enforcers, Playmakers and Finishers to give you different options on the ball and make your mark on the street.

FIFA Street 3 will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system and Nintendo DS. FIFA Street 3 is scheduled to ship to stores on February 15th, 2008 in Europe and February 18th in North America. It is rated "E" for Everyone and 3+ by PEGI.
