First-Ever Console Videogame Based on Cartoon Network's Emmy-Winning Ben 10 Animated Series
D3Publisher of America has announced that new videogame Ben 10: Protector of Earth, the first-ever interactive title based on Cartoon Network's Emmy-winning Ben 10 animated series, has shipped to retail outlets across North America. Fans can now take on the roll of beloved everyday-kid-turned-superhero Ben Tennyson as he works to protect the powers of the alien Omnitrix device attached to his wrist and tries to thwart his archenemy Vilgax from destroying Earth! Players endeavor to save the world through the game's diverse challenges, puzzles and skirmishes as a familiar summer vacation storyline unfolds and Ben visits famous US landmarks where trouble arises. Ben 10: Protector of Earth is available for the Wii home video game system, PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo DS portable handheld system and PSP (PlayStationPortable) system.
"With USA Today recommending Ben 10: Protector of Earth to families nationwide as a Halloween purchase and great reviews naming the game among the top ten surefire hits for console games this holiday season, D3Publisher and Cartoon Network Enterprises are extremely pleased to deliver such a high quality game for long-time fans and new recruits alike," said Alison Quirion, vice president, marketing, D3Publisher of America.
"Ben 10: Protector of Earth features everything we could want out of a first interactive title for our hero, Ben Tennyson," said Christina Miller, vice president of consumer products, Cartoon Network Enterprises.
