Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, the fighting game that no one believed would get an American release just got its Criss Angel on and freaked our minds. Not only is the game being released in the US, but it's getting a mega upgrade in bonus content.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a license-heavy game that pits Capcom characters against those from Tatsunoko, a Japanese animation company founded way back in 1962. A few of those cartoons even made it to American shores, such as the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series, Speed Racer, Gatchaman, Macross, and Samurai Pizza Cats shows. When the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom fighting game was released on the Wii in Japan, it seemed safe to assume complicated licensing issues would kill any chance of it being ported here.
