Ready 2 Rumble Wii Preview
The Wii is a system that seems perfectly suited to boxing games. So far, however, the closest we have come to true 1:1 motion control is the excellent, but somewhat limited boxing game in Wii Sports. We long for a fully-featured boxing title that captures the core elements of the sport while making good use of the Wii input controls.
Enter Ready 2 Rumble Revolution from Atari. Fans will remember that this long-running franchise got its start on the Dreamcast all the way back in 1999. The newest installment promises to deliver current-gen gameplay, wicked-fun motion controls and all of the hilarious fun of the original arcade classic. Don't let the cartoon graphics and caricatures fool you -- underneath the whimsical style lurks an addictive and complex fighting game.
Ever wanted to punch Simon Cowell from American Idol in the nose? Thanks to the inclusion of celebrity spoofs like Brad Pitt, Shaun White, David Hasselhoff and more, you will be able to go head-to-head against a characiture your favorite (or least favorite) A-Lister. Gamers itching to enter the ring will be able to pick up Ready 2 Rumble Revolution for the Wii this March. Click below to check out an official trailer for the game.
