Mario and Sonic Compete at the Olympic Games!
Mario and Sonic, the two most famous characters in video games, come together, or should I say compete against each other, in an all out battle. However, there will be no punches, kicks, or fireballs being aimed at each other. These two will be laying it out all on the floor for the first time at the Olympic games in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games!
The player can choose among a wide cast of characters such as Mario, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Luigi, Yoshi, and much more. The innovative use of the Wii-mote's motion sensor will definitely come into play as the players control his or her character through exhausting competitions, such as the 100 meter dash, swimming, table tennis, archery, skeet-shooting, gymnastics, and more. Players can also choose their style of character from four of the following types: all-around, technical, speed, and power. For example, just to name a few, Mario is all-around, Sonic has speed, Peach is technical, and Knuckles has power. The DS version of the game will allow up to four players to compete via wireless connection!
The game will be released for both the DS and the Wii in the Holiday of 2007.
Fans who have been waiting for a Mario/Sonic game to come out, this may be their chance to see who is better among the two. The outcome lies in the players' hands.
